nocturnesWriting Challenge Meme1. Give me a writing prompt- anything you can think of! Something concrete (like rain, balloons, the first snow of winter, a color, a word), something abstract (concepts like freedom, love, or any feeling descriptive or summed up in one word), or something that doesn't really fit neatly into either category (like a quote, a lyric, or a general theme). Be as creative as you want (but please try to be clear with your suggestion, so that it's easier for me to write about it).
2. With your prompt, give me three things: the format, the point of view, and the setting. The format can be descriptive (no dialogue), dialogue (just words), or a combination of both. Any other format you can think of is great as well, but please do not request poetry, and I can't really guarantee anything about length. Point of view can be either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd person. The setting can be any one of the aspects of setting: a place, a time (whether an actual time period, or a time like midnight), or a mood.
3. Feel free to give me as many suggestions as you want (I don't mind if you give me twenty!). This is meant as an exercise to help me keep writing, and challenge me (and for fun of course!). I'll try to write something for every prompt you give, even if it's only a paragraph.
4. Post this to your own journal if you'd like to do this as well. Have fun! :)
(P.S. Yeah, I know I said a real life entry was following sometime soon...well, be patient for just a little bit longer ^^)
